I've had my Prologue Touring since August and am wondering if anyone has an issue with other drivers constantly flashing their lights at you because they think you are high beaming them? This happens to me constantly, I'm afraid to put the fog lights on because it makes them even brighter. Just curious.

I have it happen occasionally. My Expedition gets flashed occasionally as well. LED lights are very bright. Fog lights will not make it brighter, to the ongoing drivers, as they are aimed down and light up the darker area closest to the car. but when you do activate the fog lights, your auto high beam setting goes off.

Speaking of fog lights. It was extremely foggy last night and I could not remember for the life of me where the fog lights setting was at. I have since found it. I had removed that settings button from the left menu. It is now back at the top where Honda put it so I can get to it when needed.

This happens to me way more often than any other car I've owned, LED or not. I wonder if it's not just the brightness, but also the light signature. Each headlight housing has two separate beams, and its conceivable other drivers mistake it for a low and high beam. I don't know, it's annoying though.

So, on this topic, I have experienced the same thing on multiple occasions. I feel "badly" about it as I feel I'm putting the other drivers out by not lowering my high beams but there is nothing I can do save for turn off the lights which realistically I cannot.

Any one heard of a modification or other method of tuning that could be done now - or is coming - to make the standard headlight less offensive to oncoming drivers?

I’ve had same result in last 3 Vehicles with LED headlights. It’s not unique to Prologue, so I can’t really worry too much about it.

Yes, it happens to me quit often. It’s not because they think your high beams are on. It’s because other drivers HATE LED lights and they are trying to blind you as some sort of revenge. I also have a Prologue. I was unaware of the hatred towards LED headlights, and didn’t even know my car had them for a while. How many people worry about the headlights when buying a new car? I am so self-conscious at night driving behind people now, worrying that they are cursing me and my headlights out. If they are so bright why are they legal? That being said, I really do LOVE my prologue!

Except...my wife has a Nissan Ariya that is equipped with higher quality pixel-type LEDs. She never gets flashed, ever. She's driven behind me at night and her lights have a focused beam with very little glare. Prologue has cheaper reflector-style LEDs.
