Doors do not unlock when I approach with key fob

When I approach my '25 Plog with the key fob, the door locks do not unlock. After I press the lock/unlock silver button, the car still does not unlock (nor lock either). I looked in the manual, and it says the car should unlock/lock.
I cannot figure out if I somehow, in the settings, made this not work correctly, or if the Plog needs to get fixed at the dealer.
Any ideas?

It should work only when you have a key fob and you press the button. If you go into the Doors and Window section under Controls, you can see how you have it set but I think the options are Driver door only or all doors

Yeah, that's what I'm waiting for. The Prologue is a 3 year stopgap for me while everyone comes out with second or third generation designs.

I went from a Tesla Model 3 that was a great EV (Shitty owner), went through Polestar where my P3 is a clear lemon I'm in the process of returning that's been in service since May for A/C issues, key issues and this last time GPS/4G network issues.

We were a Honda family before so even though it's really a GM, at least I have our Honda service team here which has always been great.

The Honda 0 concepts look interesting, and we'll see where things are in 3 years when this lease is up.

Actually, I am getting used to this.
With my Prologue key in my pocket, leaving car, I just close the car door, and press silver button on external door handle. All doors lock.
Returning to car, with keys in pocket, just press silver button on door handle, any door handle and all doors unlock.
When I exit mine, with my FOB in my pocket, I just walk away and they auto lock. This is a nice feature.

They mean pressing the button on the door handle, not the key fob itself. It's a GM thing.

When the fob is in range the car is ready to unlock, but won't actually do so until you press the button on the door handle. Which is easy to do when you grab it to open, but technically more than just grabbing the handle anywhere.
Pressing the button on the door handle, to unlock, doesn’t work, despite having the key fob in my pocket. But, it does lock the EV when I exit and press the button.
The Ridgeline unlocks when you put your hand inside of the door handle not as you approach the car. Instead of having to push a button, like on the Prologue, there is a sensor inside the door handle that will unlock the car if you have the fob on you.

That is odd. Maybe a setting in the setup menu. On my wife's Prologue when I push the silver button with the key fob on me it unlocks as well as locks.

EVERYONE: Thank you all for your input. I was not following the Manual....somehow I missed how to get to the settings for the door unlocking with a press of the silver button. Or, I may have gotten to it, and just did not understand how to correct my system. As of today, the silver button does unlock, and lock, my EV, after I selected the proper setting to do so.

Even my Lexus I had to touch the door handle.
