Do it quickly as $7500 disappears at the end of September if you decide to buy or lease new.

I bought new in June of last year, no regrets. If I was in the market now. I would probably get one of those crazy lease deals. Of course, I don’t drive much. If you drive more, buy from a reseller but try to get a corporate lease car if possible (ultra low mileage and never titled). Problem that you don’t know with one that was titled and driven is why the car was put on the reseller lot so quickly. Is it a lemon, did the person who had it just wasn’t EV material, are there aggravating issues. Good news about issues is that the remainder of the factory warranty should still be in force. Used EV tax credit is $4000
New EV tax credit is $7500

 

I haven’t seen a used Prologue that is low enough to qualify for the used tax credit. I think it has to be 25k or lower

 

One I was looking at was sub $25k, but the $4k credit cannot apply to the Prologue, the car must be 2 years old or greater.

 

I think there is a requirement as well that the VIN hadn’t had a tax credit applied to it. I may be wrong on that

 

If I was in the market for a Prologue, I would lease one again. Deals are still great. I'm thinking about getting the Acura ZDX. But I love my Expedition too much to let go of it.

 

I always buy used. I got a used formerly leased vehicle. Looks brand new, low mileage. battery in fantastic health… might as well be new.

 

How do you find out batter health?
