In both of y’all’s case, hopefully replacing the battery fixes the issue. Like I stated on a previous post, I got the Service Now icon pop up, was planning to take it to the dealer the next day and then it cleared. Haven’t seen it since.

Mine was cleared by the time I brought it to the dealer, but the codes were still there stating a module was faulty in the battery pack. Mine was specifically module 9.

I saw this service red exclamation light briefly yesterday and now today is steady on. I will have to reschedule Service. I am also waiting for a new electric port since my is faulty per Dealer. My car hashad issues with the right side Mirror that was not working. I already got a loaner for that and it seems fixed. I have a prologue elite 2024

What's wrong with your charge port? And it is super scary seeing your Prologue have the red light turn on as well!! Omg

As an FYI on this thread - I had to take my car in for this error on 8/23. They tested and informed me they would have to order a new battery as something had shorted, that the batteries were backordered, and it would likely take a month or so to fix. I just got the call today that the battery came earlier this week and its installed and ready for pickup tomorrow. Hopefully others w/ this issue have been able to get this cleared up quickly as well.

They just called me saying the battery came in last week and the replacement, testing, and calibration has been completed! My car is also ready for pick up. I'm surprised Honda/GM haven't done a recall for the battery with how many cases there have been of modules going bad so early.
Hopefully all the new replaced batteries have an update or something to remedy this issue.

while there may be issues, this is nowhere near a recall. For recall you have to demonstrate there’s an immediate safety issue, or a defect in manufacturing that applies to the majority of vehicles produced.

So I purchased a Prologue Elite and within my first week of ownership SO many issues were found with the vehicle. The main one being 500 miles into the car the high voltage battery needing replacement!! The battery is on back order and now I am out of my brand new car for no one knows how many months. Anyone else have had similar issues?? Should I wait for the battery replacement?? Or should I try to switch to a new Prologue if allowed through the dealership and hope for no problems??
Help!!
UPDATE: I got the car back on September 14th. So it took about 6 weeks for the battery replacement. Within that time they fixed all other issues with the vehicle. All the lighting works, alignment is straight, and key card was working. But now the key card isn't working again (third time is has stopped). So far battery has been fine and getting estimated range accurately. Also at the dealership there was a software update so they installed that. They stated the update didn't change anything the driver would notice, just deep software within the car, but this update is what fixed the welcome puddle lights on side mirrors.

That sounds like good news (except for the key card of course). Six weeks is a lot shorter than you originally thought. By any chance does your Memory Seat Entry work?

Well actually update on the key card. I just got off the phone with Honda to trouble shoot if possible without bringing it back in. And I was tapping the card on the wrong spot on the handle. I thought it was to the right of the silver button where the handle has a different cut out shape. But it is actually in the middle of the handle and the card must be held horizontally for best reading.
I haven't used the memory entry seats because I didn't want to wear the seat motor by using them every entry/exit. So unfortunately I haven't tested that feature.

"wear the seat motor"? That's what it's designed to do, thousand and thousands of times.

Idk, my friend has the same feature on her Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited and she's used it all four years she has had the car. And the motors for sure sound different and move slower now than they did when she got the car brand new. But I'm an average height and built male so I don't really need the extra room for entry or exit of the car.

I’m short 5’7” and absolutely love the exit/entry feature. It actually works on my CRV, wished it fully worked on Prologue.

I am in the exact same boat. 2024 Elite, 510 miles needs new battery. Any update on your car?

No ETA on battery... They did say there are over 30 people waiting for a replacement ahead of me and the batteries are not even in production yet:/
Did you turn in the car to the dealership? Is it drivable and does it charge? I probably wouldn’t take it on a trip but if the car will basically function, I would keep and drive. If it isn’t drivable, hopefully they have given you a loaner. I would ask for a Prologue but they will probably give you a used CRV

They didn't tell me a number of people ahead of me. They used the verbiage "Other Prologues have encountered the same issue." Was told about three months wait time and got it done in six weeks time. So it's really just luck of the draw with the battery availability. They are 100% in production if there's 4 different vehicles using the same battery in the same GM assembly plant in Mexico.
Fingers crossed you get it back soon!
