I have experienced everything you have with the app. In a nutshell, the app sucks. To turn on the climate, getting in sight of the car and using the fob is far more effective. It has a pretty good range.

 

Ok I thought so too--about using the starter on the fob. Such a shame about the app though!!!! My previous Mazda Cx-5 had a way more responsive app.

 

not making excuses, but it’s crappy OnStar connectivity. The Blazer drivers complain just as much. So yeah, I’ll be enjoying my second Honda EV when they’re on their own platform.

2 weeks in still no Honda link! Case has been open since last Monday. I was supposed to get a call Tuesday that never happened.

 

Well, both yesterday morning and this morning the app has updated with the correct SOC and odometer readings upon opening the app. Improvements are being made. Now I haven’t tried sending commands to the car, but I am tempted

 

Today I went to the app and it says it refreshed but still shows 2/18...2 days ago. It threw me off at first since it showed my battery at the level I started to charge at 2 days ago...it was like I had never charged it. Got into my car and the % was much higher so looked at it again...and saw the date from 2 days ago. Closed it, re-opened same issue. This afternoon re-opened same issue after a refresh. I then clicked around the app looking at my account settings, went back to home screen and it finally showed the correct info. Weird. It is like it was stuck somehow. Anyhoo thought I would mention that clicking on the account settings (the little head icon in top left) maybe cleared it.

 

I agree it is bad. Coming from BMW where it was awesome and works every time. This seems to be something that could work correctly others do.

 

Read the Blazer forums. They are ripe with complaints about OnStar connectivity. Not an excuse, just reality.

 

Yesterday my HondaLink app sent me 12 notifications in the course of an hour that the car had finished charging. I hadn't charged for 3 days.

 

I've never allowed notifications from HondaLink.

 

I’ve got a 2024 prologue touring awd for just over a month now. I finally got the app to accept a password, but I get nothing else. No stats, no remote Commands go to the car. I’ve been working with Honda tech all this time…still nothing.

 

Well, surprise, surprise surprise, my Honda link has worked. Of course I added a mesh pod in my garage so I have very strong Internet there now. I know that may be just a coincidence, but it’s the first time it ever even worked for me. As others have stated, I seem to think that the OnStar signal as well as the Wi-Fi hotspot in the car is very weak. Not to mention the Honda link app itself.

 

my car honda link is connected to previous owner account, I called onstar several times, and they've even hung up on me, when I told them to switch accounts, they said they did it, and they dont, I contacted honda link from honda, and they said they'd get it fixed. they have not and ive talked to them several times.

im getting annoyed. every single rep said they've deleted prev owner and I will be able to do it, always says prev owner owners it still
