Have you installed a roof rack or roof rails on your Honda Prologue? What model of rack? Are you happy with it?

Some other points:
1. If you have an EX, you cannot install the factory rails. They are not an orderable part. Maybe if you found a Touring / Elite in a scrap yard you could salvage them, but no idea how hard they are to actually install. How do I know? We were this close to leasing an EX, but when I had the sales person do some due diligence on the rails, they learned it wasn't possible. Since that had us walk away from the deal, they cut as a very good deal on a Touring AND included the crossbars to win our business.
2. I think Honda kept the 'plugs' when they installed the crossbars. They said that since it was included in our bill of sale, they had to do the install. They did give me the special torx tool with the built in torque measurer, but I don't think I've seen those plugs (and now I have exposed bolt holes - que sera).

I ordered and received these crossbars from Amazon, but they really didn't work on my Touring.

They attempt to clamp onto the rail, but they're too smooth and doesn't give them a good surface to grip onto. Since I could lift them off the rails without even unfastening them, I certainly wasn't going to actually put anything on them, so I have to return them.

I am constantly on the hunt. Yakima has something in the works apparently, but their website hasn't updated in over 6 months.
I love my EX, but the lack of roof rails is an issue. I knew this before I leased it, but assumed, wrongly I guess, that the aftermarket would provide a solution.
So I saw this one on Amazon Amazon.com: Roof Rack Cross Bars for Honda Prologue 2024-2025, Aluminum Cargo Bars for Rooftop Carrier,Luggage,Kayak,Canoe,Bike and Snowboard – Roofs Rack Crossbars,Car Rooftop Racks,Crossbars for Roof Racks : Automotive but there are no reviews and it’s probably just some generic china rack that they say fits the prologue

I've seen those. Personally would not buy something like that. Waiting for an established brand to come up with a solution.
Yeah same. With summer being over I’m just going to wait and see if something comes out. I did get the oem hitch and bumper which I’m going to install my self
So etailer seems to have updated their naked roof rack page for the prologue. It still says pre order but now you can add to cart and the yakima ones say September 12th ship date, the rhino says December https://www.etrailer.com/roof-2026_Honda_Prologue.htm

Progress! Thanks for the follow-up.
So I called up etrailer and they said they ordered them on the 6th of August but it still says back ordered in the system so they do not have them yet. They do not know when they will get them in. Its not a good sign that they are not on the Yakima site at all.
I wonder if the Chevy Blazer EV naked roof racks will work on the naked roof of the prologue EX

I can’t find one for a BEV naked roof either.
I called Rack Attack that sells all the major racks and even does custom fittings and after some research they came back and said even custom fittings were not working on the naked roof prologues so i wonder if that's why we are seeing the Yakima ones as only pre order. Might be not possible. I guess we will see.

Well this does not look good. It now says may shipping date. I don’t think we are going to get an “official” version of any rack
Only recommendation I’ve seen from a website so far is a suction mount one. Personally I’d feel better about magnetic, as above. But I might order both and see which I like better.
I wonder how the side rails attach. Probably bolted through before the headliner is put in, or possibly little through-posts welded from the inside. I’d be willing to screw them to the roof with self-tapping stainless screws.
